Welcome to ERRI
ERRI joined by FoVRA in bid to secure Recovery Standard
On the 10 February 2015 representatives of both the European Rescue and Recovery Initiative (ERRI) and the Federation of Vehicle Recovery Associations (FoVRA) met for the first of two meetings at the Palace of Westminster. More...
The European Rescue and Recovery Initiative (ERRI) was initially instigated to bring together as many stakeholders as possible in the vehicle recovery and related industries. Each stakeholder comes from companies and associations that rely on or work with the vehicle recovery industry and ERRI’s main brief is to monitor and where possible, guide the fortunes of the vehicle recovery industry.
“By uniting all facets of the rescue and recovery industry, it is hoped that ERRI can harness the collective skills of all its stakeholders to improve the image of the industry with the public, the government and major stakeholder.
Today’s ERRI is an active and influential organisation. It is working hard to ensure that other stakeholders are aware of issues within the industry, whilst raising overall industry standards and representing the industry on legislative issues.”
It's time you had your say
Consultation Period for Recovery Standard Closed 31st December 2013.
Following the long awaited Recovery Standard Consultation and extension period, ensuring everyone within or connected to the Recovery Industry had sufficient opportunity to have their say, the ERRI Standards & Regulatory Committee will now compile the data received and report back on the results for and against as well as taking on board the comments made.
At this stage the results will remain confidential until the process is finished when a full report will be produced. Unfortunately at this time we are not in a position to give a timescale but work will start in the first week of January. All specific data will remain confidential.
May I take this opportunity to thank the ERRI Management Committee and the IT team for the hard work they have carried out to date culminating in a seamless, quick and easy process and a clear demonstration of the professionalism of our industry.
To those who have taken the time & effort to complete the Recovery Standard Consultation Document, thank you.
Wishing you all a Happy & Prosperous New Year.
